The Wish List: Aria Dean

Aria in the Sculpted Mini Dress.

Artist, writer, filmmaker — Brooklyn-based Aria Dean has earned all three titles with a formidable, multi-disciplinary body of work that challenges collective ideas of representation and power in contemporary art. Her sculpture and video installations have been featured at The Whitney Museum, MoMA and London’s Institute of Contemporary Arts — to name a few –– while her essays and criticism have appeared in Art Forum and Art in America.

Below, Aria shares a few of her favorite finds, from the perfect black tank to a souvenir fragrance from Mexico City.
