Rita in The Fringe Dress on Via di Monserrato in Rome
Welcome to The Wish List, a new series where women we admire share the special things they’re indulging in now; a selection of gifts for themselves and others — no occasion required.
As Editorial Creative Director at The RealReal, the luxury e-commerce resale platform, Rita Nakouzi oversees everything from content creation to editorial partnerships. But when she’s not curating edits and orchestrating photoshoots, Nakouzi can be found cooking at home in Brooklyn with her husband and two teenagers or frequenting her neighborhood yoga studio.
Below, she shares a few of her favorite finds, from the facial oil she swears by to the Attersee pieces she packed on a recent trip to Italy. Plus, a few special things she’s eyeing for friends and family.
Luxe Face Oil
"This super concentrated facial oil is a decadent purchase but so worth it. It’s created by the artist Lia Chavez from three hundred (!) Damask Turkish roses that are hand harvested as soon as they open. It comes in a beautiful glass bottle engraved with a unique edition number." Hildegaard Rose Haute Botanical Facial Oil, $495
Sculptural Earrings
"Annelise Michelson’s gorgeous sea leaf earrings have been my go-to pair this summer. These with my Attersee Fringe Dress are a match made in heaven." Sea Leaves Clips, €565
An Elegant Tissue Box
"A beautifully designed tissue box is so hard to find — this one from Bottega Veneta will win the heart of any aesthete." Intrecciato Leather Tissue Box, $265
A Collectible Catchall
"This Cartier catchall is perfect for my mom. It’s a classic, like her, and if she uses it she may never again lose her keys. A win-win!" Panthere de Cartier Mini Catchall Dish, $425
A Charming Cocktail Plate
"I’ve been eyeing this Mai Warshafsky cocktail plate with raised ceramic fruit accents for my best friend’s birthday. She doens’t live in the states anymore but our shared love of figs is a forever bond." Milky Fig Cocktail Plate, $124
A Handsome Desk Clock
"A special gift for my teens — we are redoing their room and this Seamen Schepps desk watch for their dresser will help them avoid the phone alarm. It also fits nicely with the light nautical touches throughout the room." Labradorite Desk Clock, $752.50
