Wendy Artin is an American painter. She primarily works in watercolor and charcoal. Her work is figurative and classical and explores the timeless interaction of light with surfaces on architecture and the human body.
Attersee’s first print collaboration features watercolors by the Rome-based artist Wendy Artin, whose figurative work explores the interaction of light and pigment on surface.
Attersee worked closely with Artin to create a textile print based on a series of the artist’s female nudes, which were commissioned exclusively for the collaboration. Painted in lush sepia watercolor, the artist’s figures stretch and dance across a selection of new and signature styles in silk twill and silk-cashmere voile.
