Attersee is seeking an experienced Manager to oversee sales and operations at The Attersee Studio. The ideal candidate will exhibit a passion for luxury ready-to-wear and accessories, excellent customer service skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
The Senior Manager of Client Development will serve as the point person on the studio floor, assisting retail customers and closing sales. He or she will demonstrate strong customer service and selling skills, organizational skills, and leadership, delivering results and developing the business with a direct, engaged approach.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Experience: Act as the driving force behind retail sales, achieving targets, and ensuring that every customer interaction in the studio is a positive and memorable experience. Build client relationships with a warm, personalized approach to develop the business and identify opportunities. Demonstrate the ability to build and maintain a client book using CRM techniques. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to strengthen client relationships, increase sales, and build repeat business. Monitor sales performance and provide weekly reports to senior management.
Studio Management: Oversee the daily operations of the Studio, ensuring it is always visually appealing and meets the company’s standards.
Event Planning: Generate, plan, and execute in-studio events to promote new products and build customer relationships. Collaborate with the Merchandising team to suggest new ideas.
Team Leadership: Lead, develo,p and inspire a team of sales associates as our business grows to provide exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets. Conduct regular training sessions to keep the team updated on product knowledge and sales techniques. Plan Studio schedules.
Inventory Management: Manage studio inventory with our Studio Coordinator to ensure that stock levels are maintained and products are displayed attractively. Coordinate with the Merchandising team to receive and display new products promptly. Participate in cycle counts and twice annual inventory counts at an off-site warehouse.
Trunk Show and Operational Expectations: This is a full-time, in-person role based in New York City. As a retail position, this role requires weekend hours as needed. Some holiday coverage may also be required.
Travel may be required as the brand seeks to grow its trunk show presence in new cities. During these moments of the calendar year, we may expect you to assist in the preparation and execution of these events. This may, on occasion, require travel to these locations, setup, and break down of these events.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in luxury retail management or a similar role.
- Passion for luxury products and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing budgets.
- Flexibility, demonstrating the ability to work in a fast-paced environment on a small team, adapting to changing priorities with an entrepreneurial, hands-on approach.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience with Shopify is a plus.
